Asma holds a double degree in industrial biology and drug toxicology.

She has been working in the IP field since 2010 and passed the European patent litigation certificate in 2018.

Asma has a unique combination of extensive experience both in patent drafting and prosecution and in patent litigation, since she worked for 8 years in two general law firms.

Some of her subjects of expertise include:

• pharmacology, with special emphasis on supplementary protection certificates (SPCs);
• life sciences;
• chemical engineering.

At Bandpay & Greuter, she mostly handles patent prosecution and opposition proceedings at the European Patent Office.
